Beginner Hockey Clinic

If you have ever wanted to learn to play hockey, this is your chance! Our coaches run beginner drills and will sometimes run a beginner scrimmage. This is geared toward people who feel comfortable on skates and want to try out playing hockey or current players who want to work on their basic skills. โ
Skate rental will be available for a small fee. We do not charge for the session, but a $15 suggested donation is always appreciated. Please email us if you can make it so we can plan for enough players & bring equipment for anyone who needs it.

Our team, the Tigers, play in a D level at the UPMC Lemieux rink in Cranberry, and our beginner-friendly TigerSharks team plays in the E league at the same rink. New seasons start every few months. Please let us know if you are interested in coming out and playing hockey with us!

Many of us also skate in weekly scrimmages run by our friends around Pittsburgh. If you already play and want to join us, please send us an email.
Tournaments

Team Pittsburgh tries to represent black and gold in many international LGBTQ tournaments. We regularly play in the Eastern Canada Cup in Montréal and Toronto and other tourneys.
